But with so much to see and do, planning your day can seem overwhelming. Fear not! In this guide, we’ll take you through a step-by-step itinerary to help you make the most of your time at the kingdom of dreams.
Morning:
Rope Drop: Arrive early to catch the magical moment of rope drop – when the park officially opens its gates. Be prepared to join fellow Disney enthusiasts in a lively countdown as you eagerly await your first steps into the kingdom. (Bonus: if you are staying on property, you can get in 30 minutes early!
Main Street, U.S.A.: Start your day with a leisurely stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., soaking in the charming ambiance of this nostalgic thoroughfare. Admire the Victorian architecture, browse quaint shops, and keep an eye out for beloved Disney characters making surprise appearances.
Fantasyland: Head straight to Fantasyland, where classic Disney tales come to life. Begin your adventure with a ride on Peter Pan’s Flight, followed by a journey through the whimsical world of “it’s a small world.” Don’t forget to head into Sir Mickey’s to get your Pixie Dust for the Day!
Midday:
Adventureland: As the day heats up, seek adventure in the exotic lands of Adventureland. Embark on a thrilling voyage with Pirates of the Caribbean, then hop on the boat to see the eighth wonder of the world on the world-famous Jungle Cruise. Be sure to stop by the Pirates Adventure building to get your maps to find the pirate treasures hidden throughout Adventureland!
Lunch Break: Refuel and recharge with a delicious meal at one of Magic Kingdom’s many dining options. Whether you’re craving a quick bite at Tortuga Tavern or a sit-down meal at Skipper Canteen, there’s something to satisfy every appetite.
Frontierland: After lunch, mosey on over to Frontierland for some rootin’ tootin’ fun. Take a spin on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, take a splash on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (when it opens later this year), and challenge your friends to a shootout at Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade.
Afternoon:
Liberty Square: Step back in time as you explore the colonial charm of Liberty Square. Pay a visit to the Haunted Mansion for a ghostly encounter unlike any other, then take a leisurely cruise along the Rivers of America aboard the Liberty Belle steamboat.
Tomorrowland: Finish your day with a futuristic adventure in Tomorrowland. Soar through the galaxy on Space Mountain, blast off on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and take a spin on the iconic Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover for a bird’s-eye view of the kingdom. Get a few laughs from the laugh floor before heading to the brand-new TRON Lightcycle/Run. Just note that at time of posting, there is still a virtual que you must enter. Depending on your call back time, you may need to do this section earlier in the day.
Dinner: Don’t forget to fill those stomachs again to get you through the rest of the evening! Grab a quick bite from Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe or relax with a sit down for your meal at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends.
Evening:
Fireworks Show: As the sun begins to set, find a prime spot along in front of Cinderella Castle or anywhere down Main Street for Magic Kingdom’s spectacular nighttime show! Catch the projections on Cinderella Castle and all the way down Mainstreet. These Fireworks shows are one of a kind!
Extra Magic Hours (For select guests): If you’re staying at a Disney resort, take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. You can enjoy exclusive access to select attractions after regular park hours. Whether you choose to ride your favorites one last time or explore a new land under the stars, Extra Magic Hours offer a magical end to your day at Magic Kingdom.
